Debra R. Bryson

Debra Bryson's career has been dedicated to helping others maximize their full potential for over twenty years. She is a licensed clinical social worker and her experience includes providing mental health, educational, and vocational counseling and services to clients from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and age groups in a variety of multicultural settings.

Debra graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri State University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a major in Social Work. In 1991, she earned her Master's Degree in Social Work with a specialization in mental health counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is an honored member of Empire Who's Who Among Social Workers and Executives and Professionals in Mental Health.

Debra has moved over fifteen times, including twice while writing A Portable Identity. She currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities, weightlifting, biking, journaling, and spending time with her family and friends.
